Released in 2008, directed by Nicholas Stoller and written by Jason Segal and stars Kristen bell and our very own Marshall Eriksen, aka Jason Segal. Apparently, how I met your mother is not the only thing Jason started in. The movie is set in a romantic comedy genre. After breaking up with his girlfriend, a musician gives his healing opportunity to those in Hawaii, where he finds himself tangled with his ex, who is there with her now-famous rock star boyfriend. 

4. Marmaduke       

Released in 2020, this animated comedy is directed by Mark A.Z, Dippe, Phil Nibbelink, Youngkin Lee, and Matt Whelan. The movie is an obvious animated comedy genre. The movie stars Pete Davidson; just like him, Marmaduke has a big heart but can’t manage to stay out of trouble. The question of what he must do to excel in the swanky dog show world remains prominent throughout the movie.

5. The takedown

Released this year, the movie is directed by Louis Leterrier and stars Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte. The movie has an action-comedy genre. Two different cops with different styles, backgrounds and different careers. The indifferent pair is reunited once again for a brand-new investigation that flies them to France. A simple drug deal turns into a large scale criminal case filled with danger and humour. 

6. Happy Gilmore 

Released in 1996, this classic is directed by Dennis Dugan and stars the comedy legend Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald, Julie Browen, and Carl Weathers. The movie is categorized as a sports comedy. Adam Sandler plays Happy Gilmore; after he finds out that his grandmother is about to lose her house, he discovers he has a gift that could bring him much glory. His hot head and hard-hitting make it hard for him to fit in Golf. However, with a little help from a retired golfer and a publicist Happy can perfect his game and win the tournament prize.

Released in 2013, starting the later Chadwick Boseman, Harrison Ford, Nicole Beharie, and many others. Brian Helgeland directs 42. This movie is a sports drama biopic. In 1946 Harrison Ford, who plays Branch Rickey, signed Jackie Robinson, played by Boseman, breaking the infamous colour line in baseball’s Major League. Robinson faces racism from every side. Robinson won over fans and his teammates with his tremendous performance silencing critics and paving the way for those who follow. In 1997 Major league baseball retired the number 42 for all teams in honour of Robinson. 

8. Den of Thieves

Den of Thieves was released in 2018 and directed by Christian Gudegast. The movie is a crime saga that connects the lives of an elite unit of LA County Sheriff DEPT and the State’s most renowned bank robbery team to take on the outlaws who attempt an almost impossible heist. Starring Gerard Butler, Pablo Schreiber, Curtis 50 cent, and a few more stars. The movie is categorized as heist action. The movie is set in LOS Angeles.    

9. Along for the ride

Released in 2020, this movie starts with Emma Pasarow, Belmont Cameli, Kate Bosworth, and a few others, and it is directed by Sofia Alveraz. This movie is filled with drama. Summer before joining college, Auden finds himself a weird insomniac fellow Eli. The two take up a journey to help Auden experience the fun, carefree teen life she never knew she wanted. 

10. U.S. Marshals

US Marshal Sam Gerard and his team are on the mission to track down a perp who broke into the prison and helped a bunch of other prisoners. This crime thriller has been loved for more than two decades and now is one of the tops of all time on Netflix. Directed by Stuart Baird, this movie was released in 1998, and it stars Tommy Lee Jones, Wesley Snipes, Robert Downey Jr, and many other stars from Hollywood.
